Senator Raskin Urges the University System to Offer Domestic Partner Benefits
On October 10, 2007, Senator Raskin wrote Governor O'Malley, Chancellor Kirwan, and President Mote urging them to expand the University of Maryland system's spousal benefits policy to domestic partners. Senator Raskin wrote in support of Dr. Robyn Zeiger and her partner Dorri Steele, who have been fighting for years to gain domestic partner benefits.
