Federal office holders appearing above and appearing at the event are asking only for contributions of up to $2,300 per election from an individual's personal funds and up to $5,000 from a federal multi-candidate committee to Friends of Jamin Raskin. They are not asking for funds from corporate contributions, labor contributions or contributions from people under the age of 18 or non citizens.
Please note: A person can contribute no more than $4,000 to one Maryland state campaign account and a total of $10,000 to all Maryland non-federal campaign accounts during the four year cycle, including in-kind contributions. The current cycle began on January 1, 2007 and will end December 31, 2010. A person may not make a contribution of money in excess of $100 except by check or credit card. Contributions to political campaigns are not tax deductible.
